Product introduction

The drum screen has a simple structure, is easy to operate, works smoothly and is noiseless. It is mainly used for separation and classification of building materials, river sand, chemicals, mineral processing, fertilizers and other materials.

The roller screen is composed of a motor, a reducer, a drive coupling, a bearing support and a screen cage, etc. The roller device is mounted on the frame at an Angle. The motor is connected with the drum device by the reducer through a coupling, and the drum device is driven to rotate around its axis. When the material enters the drum device, due to the tilt and rotation of the drum device, the material on the screen surface is turned over and rolled, so that the qualified material (under the screen product) is discharged through the bottom of the drum at the back end of the discharge port, and the unqualified material (on the screen product) is discharged through the discharge port at the tail of the drum.

Working principle

The drum device is mounted on the rack at an Angle. The motor is connected with the drum device by the reducer through a coupling, and the drum device is driven to rotate around its axis. When the material enters the drum device, due to the tilt and rotation of the drum device, the material on the screen surface is turned over and rolled, so that the qualified material (under the screen product) is discharged through the bottom of the drum at the back end of the discharge port, and the unqualified material (on the screen product) is discharged through the discharge port at the tail of the drum. Due to the material turning and rolling in the drum, the material stuck in the screen can be ejected to prevent the screen plugging. The principle structure of drum sand screening machine, drum screen machine and drum screen is almost the same, which is the difference in people’s understanding and name.

Scope of application

The roller screen is mainly for grading the particle size of the material, and is widely used in power mining, metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry and other production industries. It is often used for the classification of refractory materials, coal, sand stones, as well as the screening of sticky and wet materials such as coal, coke, white ash, sand and gold ore, so that the product structure is more uniform to meet the production needs.
