Third, the comprehensive carbonization stage

The temperature of this stage is 300 ~ 650℃.

In this stage, the wood material is rapidly decomposed by heat, and a large amount of liquid products such as acetic acid, methanol and wood tar are generated. In addition, flammable gases such as methane and ethylene are produced, which are burned in the furnace. Thermal decomposition and gas combustion produce a large amount of heat, so that the furnace temperature rises, and the wood material is dry distilled to carbon at high temperatures.
